It is not working at all? Well the problem could be the input power cable. I mean, there is permanent plus pole comming from the ignition key switch and then minus signals comming from the multiple switches from doors, trunk etc. So i would check (by measuring) the plus pole if there is 12V present and then minus signals from doors. The plus is present only after ignition key is turned to first or second position btw and the minus signals when door is opened of course
